Blog and Social Post Idea Generation

One of my favorite exercises I like to do with my students helps generate ideas for social posts and blog posts.

Think about creative ways that people from different professions might write about any topic.

For example: shoes.

An orthopedist can talk about the impact of walking in heels đź‘  on bone density.

A beekeeper can tell a story about how someone once used a shoe đź‘ž to swat one of her prized bees. (Thankfully, she stopped him in time)

A parenting coach can talk about the struggle of getting a toddler to keep his shoes on.

A wedding dress designer can write about choosing accessories like shoes, veil, and purse to best offset the lines of the gown.

Don’t limit yourself. Create your library. Jot down your ideas.

Give me some ideas about something you can ✍️ for your profession or a dreamed-up business.
