Newspaper can be Recycled! (Sorry if that’s old news…)
Ironic, isn't it, that I went searching today for inspiration for my online column in a print newspaper.
It is still one of my simple pleasures to sit down for my lunch and read The New York Times.
Sure, if I wanted to know today if the Mets will make more trades before the deadline or if the Federal Reserve really will cut rates, I would turn to an online news source.
But it's the travel ideas, and the recipes, and the slice-of-life columns that I love to read about in actual newsprint.
This is what my kitchen counter looks like after a good read...and today I didn't even get all the way through the paper.
I tore out an article to share with a member of my women's networking group who has a tutoring business about student ADHD diagnoses and extra time;
I ripped a blurb about a site you can go to and check if your online data has been breached;
and I did find an article that may provide inspiration for at least a post--one on the appropriate use of the semi-colon. (See what I did there!)
