Pick Your Song: Slow Down You Move Too Fast...or Don't Stop Me Now?

How do you feel when something you have been working on for a while is done? An event you produced has passed, a new product or service has been created, your new website is up and running...

Do you give yourself time to appreciate what you have accomplished and chill a minute before you go into high gear again, or do you jump right into your next project with barely a moment to recover?

I'm sure it's a lot healthier to stop and breathe, but often I find myself onto my next event. That's a personal choice; I am happier when I am busy planning.

Don't get me wrong...I take a ton of "me" time. I have a few obsessions including pickleball and online Scrabble. I love a good girls' weekend, and just had a great time with some high school friends. And I know I should get back into yoga, or at least some stretching.

But I'm always planning my next BIG event, the next social outing for Vivid Stage, or trying to find a way to spread the word about my latest project, which is raising money for the local library.

I'd love to hear your take on how you decompress and why it's a critical step in your regrouping process, or if you might be a bit like me.
